Arnie Johnson Tribute No. 31
Our group from Florida were treated like family when we came up to visit while headed up to Road Atlanta or Chateau Elan for the British Car Show. Sometimes we would meet Arnie for lunch or just head to LCU to hang out for a while. It was always a treat. We never felt like a burden or that we were imposing. Actually we were treated more like family. In the evening on one trip we watched son Brian race his LCU liveried mini stock car. Fun times. That must have been over 25 years ago. Arnie was instrumental helping find my Esprit way back when too. He allowed me to drive the Elise when it arrived on these shores. A special thanks also to Bob Patterson and others who were always available to offer help. It was special as a Lotus owner to feel so welcomed. It is a privilege to say I knew a very special guy named Arnie Johnson.
