Greetings Lotus Enthusiasts!

Please join us for a ‘Coffee and Cruise’ in Lewis County Washington on Saturday August 10. The event for our Lotuses will be from 11am to 1pm. All generations and makestypes of Lotus are welcomed. At 1pm we’ll head out for a cruise on some windy country roads. This event immediately follows an airplane fly-in. If you enjoy small airplanes, feel free to come early and bring some folding chairs. Onsite barista will supply your favorite espresso drinks from Pure Pour Coffee. Locally sourced breakfast and lunch burritos will be available.
We’ll attempt a group photo. It is rain-or-shine. (And if it raining, I am really counting on you all to buy a bunch of coffee!…the airplanes won’t be able to make it in)

If you choose to come early to check out the airplanes, it is *CRITICAL* you follow these guidelines:
– Entrance road into airpark neighborhood crosses an active runway. You must stop at the stop sign and ensure there are no departing or arriving airplanes on the grass runway, to your right and to your left before you cross the runway.
– Give way to all airplanes all the times. They have the right-of-way.
– If arriving early, you’ll be directed to park behind the house, or some other unexciting place…as prime parking will be reserved for airplanes. (We’ll re-park you around 11am)
– Leashed and non-aggressive (no excessive barking) dogs allowed if owner picks up poo. Unleashed dogs absolutely prohibited.
– Same for kids, particularly toddlers…no free-ranging kids during airplane event. Propellers are very dangerous.

Starting around 11am:
– Parking will take place in front of pond and along side of Hangar. If we have a big turnout, and end up with more than 30 cars, we’ll park behind the Hangar too.

Our arrival and registration desk opens at 8:30 am. We try to keep the same marques together in one designated area, so your pre-registration and early arrival helps. However, we can only set aside a specific area, not an assigned space. We work very hard at this on the show day!

Get ready to take your British Car for a spin and explore the winding back roads just outside Denver! Hosted by the Colorado English Motoring Conclave, the tour will begin at the Oak Park parking lot. Our witty tour master will provide an introduction and directions, guiding participants along the back roads and hills perfect for British Cars.

The tour will start no later than 10:00 AM and will be timed so that you’ll arrive at the ending site just around lunchtime. The start time is flexible, earning the tour its nickname, the ‘Bobs long drive to get a beer’ tour. As always, the tour will feature a ‘Gimmick Rally’ with questions to answer along the way.

The tour will conclude at a ‘secret’ restaurant or brew pub, where participants will turn in their answer sheets and engage in a series of Bob’s infamous tie-breaker questions. These are typically focused on British automotive or slang themes, so brush up on your knowledge of The Beatles as well.

Don’t wait until Sunday to start the fun! Make the most of your Conclave weekend and join us for the tour on Saturday. Remember, this is a FUN TOUR! No need to take things too seriously; just enjoy the driving experience!

The City of Arvada has once again generously offered Oak Park as the venue for the Conclave. If you have attended the Conclave in the past, you know what a fantastic day it can be! With your help, we can expect to have over 500 British Cars and Bikes in attendance. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or purchase food and drinks from the vendors, and enjoy a relaxing picnic under the trees.
