Hello all and welcome to the first announcements of activities at LOG44!
This year we are pleased to announce that we have been able to combine several activities at one location, Pittsburgh International Race Circuit (aka PIRC, or Pitt Race) just north of Pittsburgh in Wampum PA. This gives us the opportunity to bring everyone together for a fun packed and Lotus focused day on Saturday.
Our day will begin with everyone up early to take an approximate 40-45 minute drive to this wonderful motorsport facility north of Pittsburgh. Upon arrival we will be guided to our annual Concours location adjacent to the one mile kart track. During voting we will have an FAA certified drone pilot taking photographs of our Concours assembly. The photo will be available for purchase and download after the event.
While the Concours voting completes, a box lunch will be available in a covered location for all attendees at no additional charge. Folks who wish to participate in optional parade laps around the main circuit will have access to the main circuit at noon for a $50 fee.
In the afternoon we will have optional autocross and karting events available next to the Concours location. Given the convenient location, we hope that you will enjoy socializing, participating, and spectating with your fellow Lotus Ltd members!
In the evening we will make our way back to the host hotel, the DoubleTree Greentree Pittsburgh, for the evening’s traditional banquet activities!
Our Sunday activities offer even more opportunities to enjoy your Lotus. Some may choose to explore the sights and attractions in the Pittsburgh area, while others can organize groups for our pre-mapped scenic drives. Alternatively, attendees can participate in one of several Tech Talks held at the Hotel.
For track enthusiasts, Chin Motorsports will be hosting their event at PIRC. If you are interested in this activity, a link will be provided for Sunday participation. Please note that this is not officially part of LOG44 but can be used by members as they wish.
Sunday evening will be our final Banquet buffet dinner with a speaker and our closing comments, and a thank you send off to all!
At present, we are finalizing the speakers for our Saturday and Sunday banquets. The Friday Reception will feature live music by a local artist.
This year presents the opportunity to celebrate several important Lotus Cars anniversaries or events:

⁃ 50 years of the announcement of the Esprit
⁃ 60th anniversary of Jim Clark’s F1, F2, and Indy 500 wins with Team Lotus
We will have more details of these celebrations as we get closer to LOG44!
Behind the scenes we are updating the website for LOG44 registration – available soon.
I am excited to see you all attending LOG44 at the DoubleTree Greentree Pittsburgh September 5-7 2025!!
