While having my Evora GT serviced at Gator Motorsports in Indianapolis, I went on a short drive in the Eletre. Granted this was my first experience driving an electric car, but it likely spoiled me on driving any other. The car was VERY impressive. The tech was amazing, lots of details and features one can customize to your liking. I thought is was a bit overkill, but still impressive. I drove the car a moderate speeds (not on the highway) in sport mode. The Eletre was VERY taught. You'd never know it was a 6000 pound car. I went through several roundabouts and it handled like more like a heavier/taller sports sedan. The power and torque was huge and instantaneous. I was shocked the first time I simply goosed the throttle. Sortof like flipping a switch, as if I was rolling at 10 mph in my Evora GT, then I instantly was in 1st gear at 5000 rpm. The Eletre literally jumps. It's hard to describe. You will want traction and stability control on anything other than dry pavement. It's not the right car for my wife and I given the size and over $200K price, bit I walked away impressed by every aspect of the car.
