Description

Secure your place on the grid for this LOG 43 exclusive event

Circuit of the Americas

Sunday September 29th, 2024

Tentatively 11:45->12:35 as we note down below

Imagine yourself driving your own Lotus down the curves and straights of the only purpose built F1 track in America, just weeks before the likes of Verstappen, Norris, Leclerc and others battle it out on the very same asphalt in the pinnacle of motorsports. Join the rest of the LOG 43 attendees that purchase this very special add-on to make our own Lotus motorsport history as we parade around COTA in brilliant fashion.

Exclusive option to LOG 43 registered attendees in Lotus cars only!

Waivers will be required for all drivers and passengers. Parade formation will be single file, no passing, and 60 mph max speed. Waivers, and details on how to gain access to the track and staging area will be available at the Saturday night Banquet. This is a time sensitive event and no refunds will be granted if you are late, missing a waiver, or not a LOG 43 attendee.

And while you wait for the big day, can you guess what was the very first F1 car to go around the track? You guessed it, a Lotus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90VTEqc224k

And extra points if you can name the driver of the car!!

$50 is per car, not per person. Passengers are allowed. No helmets required.

You will need to check back there about 1 week before the event for the location to park, etc. You will need to allocate time to drive around the ring road of the track and also enter Tunnel 2 which requires signing a waiver just to be allowed in the paddock.

Note: The Parade Laps are mid-day of the Chin Track day Circuit of the Americas (COTA) | Chin Track Days. You will have an opportunity to stroll the F1 garages and paddock where you will see many high powered machinery unlike just about any other track event in the country. Its a car show in and of itself. Usually the 2nd floor will be open from the paddock (room 201, 202 or 203) which are prime viewing spots for the main straight up to T1 which is the highest elevation of the track and if you go before or after lunch, you will be able to see cars on track including at least 8 Lotuses also participating in LOG43.

Special conditions always exist for paddock use at COTA, and it changes from event to event. At this time, it’s not possible to know how much paddock space will be available for the event in order to allocate space to arriving parade lap participants. COTA mgmt usually provides that information about 2 weeks in advance.

Currently, it’s a reasonable assumption that the private Lotus group parade lap period will run on Sunday from 12:15pm to 12:35pm. Still TBD for final confirmation, but, that’s a good working schedule for now. We recommend group arrival around 11:45am, 30 mins in advance. The group is welcome to arrive sooner, and stay later, for spectating during the event.
