Enter the Contests at LOG 43!

It’s back for 2024! We are excited to offer LOG 43 attendees even more ways to show their Lotus pride, and get accolades for the challenges they may(or may not!) have endured to make it here. This year the contests will be:

Arts, Crafts, Travels, and Tales

Lotus-Related Photography

  • Large format print (80 square inches or more – 8 X 10)
  • Small format print (79 square inches or smaller)

Scale Models

  • Large Scale Models: 1:24 and larger
  • Small Scale Models: 1:25 and smaller

Craft or Fine Art

  • Any other physical creation made with a Lotus motif

Travels

  • Longest distance driven directly from home to LOG 43 in a pre-1976 Lotus (via MapQuest or Google maps)
  • Longest distance driven in any Lotus to attend LOG 43
  • Longest distance traveled to attend LOG 43

Tales

  • The Liar’s Lament or “Why I didn’t bring my Lotus to the Lotus Owners Gathering”. Exceptional winning entries may be published in reMarque. Warning: The judging is by a panel of Lotus lovers with little to no literary talent. The decision of the judges is final…no appeal, bribery or whining.
  • The Hardest Luck – A more or less true story of how you had the worst luck getting to, or participating in LOG 43

Submissions can be made during check-in registration. Entry is limited to Lotus, Ltd. members and their immediate family members.  All Arts and Crafts submissions will be on display for attendees to view and vote (check the schedule for exact times and room) and winners will be determined by popular vote. Voting will end by 5pm on Saturday and the winners will be announced at the Saturday banquet presentation. We are looking forward to seeing you and your amazing work next month!
